Father's Day

I have to say, I am surrounded and loved by the greatest fathers that were ever created. Mae is truly lucky (as myself) to have the most wonderful dad and two very special grandfathers in her life. Thank you Dennis for your constant devotion to the role as Mae's father and loving our little girl more than anything in the world- and for always letting her know this love. I knew from the moment we found out that we were having Mae, that you were created for this very reason- fatherhood. We love you.
Thank you also Buddy (Rog) and Grandpa (Dick) for spoiling and loving Mae to your greatest potential and being the greatest Grandfathers a kid could have. We love you!
Happy Father's Day!

Ten Months

While on our trip to Birmingham Mae turned ten months old. As always, I am just shocked with how fast the time goes. She has had a busy month of rolling, laughing, creating words, making friends and loving life. What a joy she is to those she meets. She means the world to us. *Aunt Rhonda, if you are reading this please notice Mae's dress for month 10. What a special dress this is!

Since my last post the remainder of our trip was WONDERFUL. I think Mae had even more fun than me- and I had tons of fun! We were so thankful to have time with family and friends (so sad we missed time with Emily though). I even had the chance to drive to Jackson, MS to see my college friends while Mae spent quality time with Grandmomma, Buddy and Aunt Julie. Any opportunity to spend time back home is always cherished and never ever seems long enough.

I would like to say a great big THANK YOU to all of those (you know who you are) that said a prayer for our trip home. This was the first time I flew solo with Mae and I have to tell you I was very nervous. Turns out, there was no need to be this way. It was so amazing how everything fell into place and how helpful people were. I now have the confidence to travel by myself with her in the future when Dennis can't come along.Happy ten months to my sweet baby girl. Oh and for my family and friends back in Birmingham, we miss you so much and look forward to more time spent together soon. Love you.
